Have you ever asked how you are connected to the city you live in? How do the sounds and images from the paths you take, the spaces and places that seem familiar yet strange, evoke your vibrations, thoughts, and memories, illuminating the way you feel about yourself and your interactions with the landscape and people? In the workshop-tour Hanoi Open No. 8: Tay Ho – Sounds & Images with the companionship and guidance of MYAN and Tong Khanh Ha, you will experience a fresh early morning walking, cycling, listening, completing, writing and drawing the sound and images of autumn in Hanoi, the waves of West Lake, the sights and sounds of life that are both quiet and vibrant on the streets from Yen Hoa to Quang An, To Ngoc Van. Featuring the spirit of Art Culture Hanoi, Hanoi Open No. 08 will also enable you to explore unique and dynamic heritage, culture, and art spaces of Tay Ho with many interesting surprises. The workshop-tour is a great opportunity for you to ignite creative ideas which will be developed further in subsequent mentorship and practices, with the co-creation results to be presented in the Hanoi Open final showcase in early November 2024.
